The Hum of Gratitude

By: Michael Adler

In the quiet of our land in Glade Spring, Virginia, where roses bloom and stars sparkle overhead, I’ve learned that gratitude is a hum—a sacred pulse that steadies the heart through life’s storms. As Elissa and I walk our dogs, Archer and Phinny, under the majestic mountain views, we give thanks for the peace of this place: friendly neighbors who wave as we pass, the birdsong that greets us, and the slower pace that softens the soul. Despite life’s choppy waters—global challenges, personal ups and downs—we hold fast to an Attitude of Gratitude, a platitude that shines brightest in the dark.

There’s so much to be thankful for: loving family, caring friends, and the gift of alternative healing modalities that nurture body, mind, and spirit. From the grace of Tai Chi to the warmth of a steaming cup of tea, from the joy of connecting with remarkable people to the loyal slobber of our furry companions, every moment is a blessing. Dowsing, my quiet art, teaches me this daily. As my pendulum swings clockwise, I send energy to our land, our seekers, our dreams; counter-clockwise, I clear what no longer serves. This practice, rooted in Infinite Intelligence, reminds me that gratitude is a choice—a way to align with the Divine within us all.

Elissa’s mediumship echoes this truth. In her SoulSight Sessions, she channels love and clarity, helping seekers find peace in grief or purpose in uncertainty. Together, we create a sanctuary where your soul is heard. If you’re seeking to reconnect with your light, click here to explore our offerings or book a session.
