I am Elissa Rose. I sit with people from the Blue Ridge mountains of
southwest Virginia, near Abingdon and Glade Spring, and online from anywhere.
★★★★★ 5 out of 5 stars.

Honestly, usually not.
Since readings moved online, the closest medium and the right medium are rarely the same
person. Searching by distance sorts for who is nearest and who paid to be listed. It does
not sort for who will tell you the truth.
So if you are local, lovely, come and sit with me. And if you are not, that is no obstacle
at all.
For what it is worth, when somebody types “medium near me” from around here, this is
what near actually means. I am in Washington County, between Abingdon and Glade Spring, at
the far southwestern end of the state. Bristol is the next town down Interstate 81. Marion
and Wytheville are up it. Roanoke is about two hours northeast. Across the Tennessee line,
Johnson City and Kingsport are nearer to me than most of Virginia is.
In person, I meet people at a quiet venue in the Abingdon area, arranged when you book.
Everywhere else, including the rest of Virginia and the rest of the country, we sit together
online. That is not a compromise I apologise for. It is simply how this work travels now.
Two ways to sit with me
By Zoom or FaceTime, in your own home. You can cry without an audience and you do not
have to drive anywhere afterwards. For most people this is the easier way.
If sitting in the same room matters to you, we meet at a quiet venue in the Abingdon
area, arranged when you book. Not at my home, which is a boundary I keep for everyone.
How it goes
I explain what I do and what I do not do. You tell me what you are hoping for. Most
people feel their shoulders drop somewhere in those first few minutes.
Plainly, without performance. An impression, an image, a sense of something. You tell
me whether it lands, and it is completely fine to say no, that is not it.
Not instructions, and not a next appointment. The most important voice in the room is
still yours when you go.
Before you arrive
Before every session I sit
quietly and clear the space, and ask that whatever is needed is able to come through.
That part is my job.
What you need is smaller than
you think: somewhere private, a cup of something, and the hour kept free. Bring a
question if you have one. You do not need to arrive believing anything.
Every session follows the same
three stages, the Sanctuary Process, which is why the hour never
feels chaotic whatever turns up in it.
One price, posted
A full 60 minutes with me. The price is on the sessions page before you
book, and nothing is sold to you inside the hour.
Rebooking is entirely up to you. Some people come back every few months, some
never need to, and both are completely fine.
New to me? You can begin with the One Question Reading, one question in fifteen private minutes on Zoom for $5, or a 30-minute Introductory Reading for $44. New clients only, one introductory offer per person.

Who you would be sitting with
Twenty-five years of intuitive and psychic practice, and more than ten years of formal
mediumship training in the New England spiritualist tradition.
I can tell you exactly who taught me, which is not something everyone in this field will
do: Rita Berkowitz, Bill Coller, Lori Sheridan, Sharon Siubis, Jenny Lee and Raymon Grace.
You are welcome to go and look them up. That is rather the point.
Said before you book, not after
These are the things I say out loud at the start of an hour. They do not make
the session smaller. They clear it.
Questions people ask me
No. Sessions happen online, wherever you are, and distance has not turned out to be the thing that matters. If being in the same room matters to you, I do meet people in person around Abingdon.
A session is 144 dollars for a full hour. That is the whole price and it is on the sessions page before you book. Nothing is sold to you during the hour.
No, and I would be careful with anyone who does. You cannot choose who comes through. Spirit decides. I say that before anyone pays rather than after.
There is no right time and I will not invent one. Some people come within weeks and some after years, and I am glad to sit with either. If grief has stopped your life working, clinical care comes first and a reading is not a substitute for it.
We talk first, so you are not walking in cold. I explain what I do and what I do not. Then I tell you what I am receiving, plainly, and you tell me whether it lands.
An hour, online or here in the mountains, at a price you can read before
you book.
